Come out to help LIGHT THE WAY! VILLAGE OF ANMORE Olympic Torch Relay Event - Thursday, February 11, 2010 - Join your neighbours in this exciting community event! 5:30 am Entertainment and Coffee available for early birds! (Village Hall parking lot) --> This is a LUG-A-MUG event. Please bring your travel mug. 5:45 am Road Closure in Effect (Sunnyside Rd between Anmore Grocery to Elementary Rd) *6:15 am Torch Relay begins (at Sunnyside Rd near Anmore Grocery)** The start time is approximate. We recommend that you get to your desired roadside location before 6:00 am TBA Torch Relay ends its Anmore journey (corner of Elementary Rd & Sunnyside Rd)* 7:00 am Road Closure Ends - Sunnyside Rd re-opens at East Rd 7:00 am Pancake Breakfast begins - Ticketed Event (Anmore Elementary) 7:00 am Photo with an Official 2010 Winter Olympic Torch (Anmore Elementary) --> Bring your camera to get your photo taken with an official Olympic Torch (donated by a generous Anmore resident). Please bring a cash or food donation for the SHARE food bank. 8:45 am School Assembly - All Anmore residents are welcome (Anmore Elementary) Need help? Ask one of the many Anmore Relay Volunteers in red t-shirts.
